Patience

Do you have it?

This is one of my biggest struggle in life. Being Patient.

I am always in a hurry. Why? because I have so much too do. In my case, I have a website business, family farm, husband, kids, friends, other family, chores and all the extras I need to do. Then lets put hobbies and not forget to spend time with God. Well you get the picture. This is when my patience gets blown out the window.

Let's face it, it is a curse to be good at so many things! Or is it really? It is not, the curse is that you don't think about what is important and have them in order. When I fail to accomplish what I need to do, it is because I wasn't praying about my day. Putting God first, is more important than the first meal of the day! Because God should be the first meal of the day! When your heart is not right with God then it goes down hill from there. By the end of the day I am overwhelmed and overburden. But it does not have to be that way. God does not give us what we can not bear. Just because he gave us a 100 choices of opportunities, doesn't mean he necessarily wanted us to do all 100. What it means is he wants us to pray and pick out a few.

I find if I am in prayer and focusing on what God wants, I have plenty of patience and get lots done. But when I am a scatter brain and overwhelmed. I should stop and say, okay restart right now and get on my knees and start putting what the most important thing back at the top of my list!

Remember even God rested on the 7th day. I don't think it was about getting as much done as possible, but more of am I doing what is right. Get rest and remember to Thank God for every moment you get of this life.
